
Students who complete exams as part of the IB Diploma Programme may be eligible to earn University course credit according to the University's credit by examination guidelines. The issuing of course credit depends on completion of the IB Diploma Programme, the exams completed, how the student enters the University, and the level (HL or SL) of the exams completed.
Students who complete an IB Mathematics exam may be eligible to earn University course credit according to the University's credit by examination guidelines. The issuing of course credit depends on completion of the IB Diploma Programme, the exams completed, how the student enters the University, and the level (HL or SL) of the exams completed.
Students who complete an IB language exam may be eligible to earn University course credit according to the University's credit by examination guidelines. The issuing of course credit depends on completion of the IB Diploma Programme, the exams completed, how the student enters the University, and the level (HL or SL) of the exams completed.

Students who enter the University as freshmen but do not attempt or receive the full IB Diploma (but rather Course Awarded) may receive credit for Higher Level (HL) IB exams with qualifying scores as set by the academic departments.



Course credit and placement is awarded to admitted and enrolled students according to certain guidelines. Students who enter the University as freshmen and earn the full IB Diploma may earn credit for HL and SL exams that meet scores set by the academic departments. Students who enter the University as transfer students, or who enter as freshmen but are not awarded the full IB Diploma, may still earn credit for certain HL exams that meet scores set by the academic departments.
