The Bachelor's Programme in Science at the University of Helsinki offers an interdisciplinary education that will enable you to work on the cutting edge of exciting basic research and application development in chemistry, computer and data science, mathematics and physics. The admitted students have the right, after completion of their BSc degree, to continue in one of the nine MSc programmes of the Faculty of Science at the University of Helsinki. Students will need to complete the full IB diploma and may need to fulfill specific subject and level requirements depending on the programme.
Bachelor's Programme in Science: Students can apply to all programmes with any math subject (AA/AI) at any level but must have a minimum score (check the website). Finnish and Swedish programmes: Depending on the programme students may be required to have a certain math subject and level.
Bachelor's Programme in Science: Students meet the English language requirements when the full IB diploma is taught in English. If not, one of the following grades is required: English as the A1 language with a minimum grade of 2, English as the A2 language with a minimum grade of 5, OR English as A language (literature/language and literature/literature and performance) with a minimum grade of 2. DP courses may be considered if the student also has completed another high school diploma.
