Students will need to complete the full IB diploma and may need to fulfill specific subject and level requirements depending on the programme/major they are applying to. Additional requirement for our bachelor in Liberal Arts and Sciences: Global Challenges of Leiden University College (LUC): An average of 35 points including bonus is required. Students whose average falls just below this can still submit an application, but students who meet the average grade requirement have a higher chance to be selected for the programme.

Students meet the English language requirements when the IB diploma is taught in English ór if English A HL is included. Students meet the Dutch language requirements when Dutch A SL or HL is included or Dutch B HL.
If you have attended the IB curriculum we expect you to obtain the full IB diploma. DP certificates are accepted however to meet language requirements. Students meet the English language requirements if an IB certificate is obtained in English A HL and the Dutch language requirements if Dutch A SL/ HL or Dutch B HL is obtained. Other IB certificates are taken into consideration on a case by case basis, and only if the national curriculum has been studied and only in combination with the national diploma that grants admission to higher education.
