Hanze is the oldest university of applied sciences in the Netherlands and the largest in the northern part of the country with approx. 30.000 students. You can choose from many international bachelor’s and master’s programmes in the domains of business, communication, health, arts & music, engineering and dozens of exchanges and minor programmes. Throughout your study, you will apply theory to practice by working in international project teams on assignments for real-life clients. In addition, almost all of our programmes include integrated internships, preparing you for your future career. Furthermore, Hanze UAS supports the development of entrepreneurial and innovation skills, and focuses its education and research on the transition to a sustainable society. New solutions and approaches are needed on a large scale, and require multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary collaboration between students, teachers, professors and professionals. Hanze UAS offers three-year and four-year international programmes. Students who have completed and passed the full IB diploma with any subject and level combination are eligible for our three-year and four-year international programmes. However, there are exceptions to a couple of programmes for which students are required to fulfill specific subject and level requirements. These programmes and requirements are: - Creative Media & Game Technologies (4-year programme): minimum Mathematics AA or AI at SL with a grade of 4 or higher. - Electronics, Mechatronics, and Sensor technology (4-year programmes): minimum Mathematics AA or AI at SL with a grade of 4 or higher; Physics SL with a grade of 4 or higher; complete Chemistry courses (strongly recommended). - Mechanical Engineering (3-year programme): minimum Mathematics AA or AI at HL with a grade of 4 or higher; Physics HL with a grade of 4 or higher.
Students with Mathematics AA or AI at any level, are eligible for our three-year and four-year international programmes. However, there are exceptions to a couple of programmes for which students are required to fulfill specific Mathematics level requirement. These programmes and requirements are: - Creative Media & Game Technologies (4-year programme): minimum Mathematics AA or AI at SL with a grade of 4 or higher. - Electronics, Mechatronics, and Sensor technology (4-year programmes): minimum Mathematics AA or AI at SL with a grade of 4 or higher. - Mechanical Engineering (3-year programme): minimum Mathematics AA or AI at HL with a grade of 4 or higher.
Students who have obtained a full IB diploma are exempted from submitting an English language proficiency test when applying for an international bachelor's programme at Hanze UAS.

These programmes and requirements are: - Creative Media & Game Technologies (4-year programme): minimum IBDP Mathematics AA or AI at SL with a grade of 4 or higher. - Electronics, Mechatronics, and Sensor technology (4-year programmes): minimum IBDP Mathematics AA or AI at SL with a grade of 4 or higher; IBDP Physics SL with a grade of 4 or higher; complete IBDP Chemistry courses (strongly recommended). - International Business (4-year programme), International Finance & Control, Marketing Management: minimum IBDP Economics or Business Management and Mathematics AA or AI at SL with a grade of 4 or higher.
